What is our currency?
The Chilean Peso, which is not the same of the Argentinian Peso. It might be a bit confusing when converting the different 'pesos' to US dollar or Euros. For you to have an idea, here is an example (updated in Ago. 2012):
USD 1 = $482 Chilean Pesos (CLP)
USD 1 = $ 4 Argentinian Pesos (ARS)

What can I purchase with USD 1 in Punta Arenas?
